Annual Meeting
There shall be at least one annual business meeting of members of the Association during the annual conference [Article IV, Sec. 1]. The annual conference is usually held during the month of April or the first two weeks in May. At the annual conference, the time and place of next year's conference shall be announced. Because of the difficulty of obtaining desirable dates or conference sites, meeting sites should be set three years in advance by the Board of Directors [Bylaws Article IV, Sec. l].
Special Meetings
Special meetings of members may be called by the President, the Board of Directors, or at the request of 30 members of the Association made to the President. [Bylaws Article IV, Sec. 2]
Notice of Meetings
Written notice sent via mail, e-mail or fax, of membership meetings stating the place, day, and hour of such meetings shall be given not less than ten (10) or more than ninety (90) days before the date of such meetings. In the case of special meetings, the purpose or purposes of the meetings shall be stated in the notice. [Bylaws Article IV, Sec. 3]
Quorum
Those members present shall constitute a quorum for the transactions of business as the meetings of member. [Bylaws Article IV, Sec. 4]
